What will High Street look like in 2025? with the todays organic food industry, not to mention the electronic and online developement, how would a main street look like in 7 years? Will paying cash still exist? How will a fashion store look like with the high-tech developing the way it does today? How would a virtual changing room look like? This was a very interesting project I was lucky to participate in 🙂
While I was finishing my last year at university in Rio e Janeiro, I squeezed in time for a couple of freelance projects! Today I wonder how I got the time and energy to all this – full time university and my final project, I was working as intern at an architect company five days a week and still had a very social life in vibrant Rio de janeiro. (This city is never quiet!) Beside this I did all freelance projects someone threw at me 🙂
This project was sent from a british company called FreshMinds.
Freshminds is an insight and innovation consultancy. They work with global brands to help them drive business growth.
FreshMinds has conducted a piece of research to help the business develop its relationship with its exisiting clients and to attract new clients with the retail space. The research seeks to answer the question:
What will High Street of 2025 look like and it is based on quantittive research, consumer workshop, desk research and expert interviews with leading British retailers.
My Job, was to design 6 illustrations to show the future of the High Street. They wanted the illustrations in paper, drawed by hand, NOT by any 3D computer program. I had actually never done that before, but they sent me some examples of the drawing style (which was not a very traditional architectual illustratuion style either), but I said OK, and made the drawings in a week. 🙂
